Letter from the President

Dear Friends and Family,

Alpha Omicron Pi has been such a light in my life the past three years and I am truly thankful for this amazing sorority. I came to Jacksonville State University to pursue my dreams of being a nurse, but little did I know the sisters I would receive.

I decided to go through formal recruitment in Fall of 2015 and it was the best decision of my life. As soon as I walked into AOII's room, they showered me with love and made me feel right at home and I knew this is where I wanted to be for the next four years. The smile on every sister's face is something I will never forget. I thought to myself "these girls really do love each other" and as a sister of this chapter, I can truly say that we do.

Three years later, I never thought I would end up where I am now. Amongst the craziness of nursing school, my sisters are my rock and they keep me grounded. Every girl contributes to our chapter with the unique talents they have including painting sheet signs, playing intramural games, leading the chapter, and so much more.

You honestly never know where life will take you and I am so blessed and grateful that life led me to Alpha Omicron Pi.

Hannah Riggan, Chapter President
